I promise I will get started on these sports posts soon. However, all this Spring Break madness has got me riled up.
For those who are unaware, our college's s.b. is coming up at the end of this week, and lots of people are excited. There is a problem with this though: everyone always talks about how they "need break to come" or can't wait until this week is over. This is ridiculous. Granted, s.b. is pretty neat, but why can't this week be enjoyed. When you watch a movie, you don't sit through it thinking, "gee, i can't wait until that movie coming out soon is released". NO. You enjoy what is in front of ya. This few days will only happen once in your lifetime, don't treat them like they don't matter. Maybe you should consider the opportunity of going to college as a privilege rather than a prison. I could think of so many people that would literally do ANYTHING to go to college five days a week. And how have we treated just another week in our boring lives? "uggggggggh, i can't wait to go home, i hate school, my life sucks here". are you kidding me?!?!!? RELAX. I'm just as excited to go home as the rest of you guys, but I do realize that being in school isn't the worst thing in the world.
Nevertheless, I hope you all have a wonderful spring break wherever you choose to celebrate. For me, I will happy enough to go home and see my family. After all, they are the reason I get to go experience college life in the first place.
